Application e Carta para Host Family

Oi meu povo, tudo bem?! Bom, no post de hoje eu vou explicar como preenchi meu Application. O application é tipo um dossiê, onde você vai escrever suas experiencias com crianças, dirigindo, com natação e etc. É um lugar onde você vai descrever os seus hobbies e tudo o que você gosta e não gosta de fazer, e principalmente explicar o pq você quer ser au pair, e pq a familia deveria escolher você.
Infelizmente eu não salvei minhas respostas do Application pra compartilhar com vocês, mas eu tenho a carta para a Host Family e vou postar aqui. Eu fiz a minha carta em um dia e vou ser bem sincera, tive muita preguiça de corrigir então eu coloquei no app assim mesmo.

Dear Host Family,

My name is Bianca and i am 21 years old and in the end of may I'm going to be 22 and I’m the first child of three. I live with my father Marcio, he’s 48, my mother Teresa is 44, and my brothers Matheus is 19 and João Victor is 9. We live in a city called Cabo frio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But before I used to live by myself in Espirito Santo, Brazil, because I was at the University studying Language Arts (Portuguese and English) in order to become a graduated English teacher but I decided to improve my english first and then finish it. That is why I went to London last summer, I was invited to work as a volunteer in one lovely church and spend 6 months there, and I couldn't resist i had to go. I had great experiences living by myself and living in London with people from other cultures, I think these experiences made me stronger and more mature.

I consider as my hallmarks being proactive, flexible, responsible and lovely to deal with people in general and also very patient and independent. I'm open-minded and I love learning about new cultures and habits I think it's amazing to see how different people are. I enjoy gathering into many different things in my free time such as reading a good book, go to the cinema and travel. I love traveling, it's a passion that I discovered when I was very little. My parents used to take me and my middle brother to a lot of nice places, far or close to home, and every holiday we were gone. When I went to London I was able to travel in Europe during my free time in church, so I have been to Paris, Rome and Edinburgh so far.

I have an amazing relationship with my family, they are very kind, sweet and supporters in all my decisions. My father he works for the Brazilian's navy and he's always been very strict with me and my brothers, and I thank him a lot for that. During the free time that we have to spend together we like to travel, watch good movies and cook together. Everybody in my family work except the little one, my brother Matheus has joined the Brazilian navy in February and my mom is a saleswoman in a local store in our city. I work as a nanny and take care of a little boy called Yan and he is 17 months, but I also look after my little brother in the afternoon, because he studies in the morning.

I've always had interest in the au pair programme I think it suits me a lot. I love working with kids. when I was about 10/11 years old I used to love help my mother with kids in church, I grew up helping my mom and basicly what we had to do was sing and read stories every sunday. In London I had the opportunity to work with kids and elderly. We were a group of 6 adults to take care of 25 children, and we had the project "stay and play" where moms or nannies took the kids there and while they were having a cup of tea we could play/sing/read with them. The kids' age was from 1 to 10 so sometimes we needed to split the group and stay alone with a small group.

In all the experiences that I've had with kids so far they have taught me a lot of new things. For me to be their counselor has helped me to grow up and realize the important affect that we have on their lives. Working with kids has been always fun and rewarded. That is the reason I want to become an au pair because I love being with children. I'm looking forward to improve my English and I want to get to know the American way of life, and also would like to show your family about my culture and that we can have a good time together. I appreciate the opportunity that you have given to me just reading this and I promise you that if you choose me you won't regret it. Well, I hope I can hear from you very soon.
